Now That Apple is Focused On iPhone, Use PowerTunes to Manage Your iTunes clutter

Too much success can lead to lack of focus. That seems to to be the case with iTunes. There is a growing outcry against iTunes for it's poor stability, lack of focus and general drift from it's music market origin.

Managing huge collection of music files in iTunes is anything but fun. It sucks and can cause lot of frustration when you are in the mood for good music. Well sweat not, Apple's laziness is clearing way for new vendors to come in and solve this pain. Fat Cat Software, a one man company run by Brian Webster, has rolled out an impressive software to manage iTunes music libraries.

Software, aptly named Powertunes, allows users to create multiple iTunes libraries, find orphaned tracks, clean up missing files, merge libraries and move folders around.
My favorite feature is the copy between libraries while retaining the meta data.

You can download the software from here. Let us know what you think of this.
