Stanford iTunes U site now has over 650 tracks

Stanford on iTunes U has expanded a lot.
The public Stanford on iTunes U site now contains over 650 tracks and has been tremendously successful, with over 15,000 pieces of content downloaded every week.
Brent Izutsu, the production manager for Stanford on iTunes U has recently moved to the Office of University Communications, which is now the primary owner of the public site. In addition to encoding and adding new content, Brent has been busy working on plans for a new version of the site to be launched in January 2007. The new version will include exciting new features such as keyword searching and a comprehensive table of contents by subject area. And, for the first time, recordings of entire Stanford courses will be made available to the public on the site. At least three complete courses will be available for download in January.
